Creating a season

Leagues are created in the Fleet portal by an owner or manager. A season is composed from four independent pieces:

  1. Season format — who plays whom: a single round robin, a repeated round robin, or a fixed number of matches per session.
  2. Standings — how ranking works: win/win-percentage tables, or configurable league points (e.g. 3 for a win, 1 for a tie), with ordered tiebreakers.
  3. Playoffs — none, a championship final, or a seeded single-elimination bracket, with best-of-N series.
  4. Schedule — weekly league nights, or the entire season in a single-day event.

The creation wizard walks through basics, the league game, the four pieces, participants and rosters, and a full schedule preview — and it validates the combination as you go, so an impossible configuration can’t be published.

Good to know

  • A season is tied to one game from one experience — every regular-season and playoff match uses it. The rules are pinned when you publish, so a mid-season software update never changes how your league scores.
  • Individual and team seasons are both supported; team rosters carry captains and approved substitutes.
  • Publishing generates the fixtures and a season Operator PIN — the code your staff use on the lanes to start official matches.
  • When a season ends, Duplicate as new season copies the whole configuration (not the results) so next season is a two-minute job.
